Brought myself a starion yesterday. Wasn't even looking for one but couldn't pass up a good oportunity.

I think it is a late model jap spec but can't be sure. Has the red top engine. Has only 35000 genuine miles on the clock. as far as i know it was crashed early on in its life and somewhere along the line was restored and a widebody kit was added. Was brought into NZ in 1995. and at some point was crashed again, damaging the front. is currently in that state. engine needs some work aswell as something not right. there is a loud knocking noise coming from the head. but is still running on all four cylinders. Has factory lsd and is 5 stud.

Anyway here are some pics

Looks like there is some work ahead of you,, might be hard to match the flared front to a front bar..

I'm 99% sure a narrowbody front bar fits fine. Finding a late model front bar in NZ will be the hard part!

Yeah got it from auckland. did a mission drive with a trailor to auckland and back yesterday. throw in some towing vehical problems and was a long, fun day.

Will be a bit difficult matching a front to the flared kit but where theres a will theres a way.

And no apparent chassis damage.

Looks like a good project. And those wheels are even better! Are the rear widey panels fibreglass or welded in?

The rear gaurds appear to be fibreglass. but will look further into the matter.

And yeah i'm loving the wheels. going to look good when i clean them up and give them a bit of a polish.

US speedo's have MPH and KPH from memory. They sell the aftermarket ones for their cars like that too.
