took these at work a few months back thought they were interesting.
Its a tf30 out of an f-111 in the engine test cell just after a rebuild.
the vibrations from the noise even behind 12 inchs of glass is so bad i had to wear a kidney belt or i would be peeing blood for a few days

i think it would make a nice upgrade from a tco5 but at more than 8 mil each and a fuel consumption of 29000 pounds($20000) per hour its never going to happen for the average person :(

:o Not quite sure but i think that'd foul on the power steering resevoir. Probabaly have to get a custom exhaust manifold fabricated . And maybe put an extra vent in the bonnet LOL

u'd need a very big and efficient intercooler LOL
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

1300 HP
General Electric T58-8F WITH afterburners !
The engine spins up to 26,000 RPM (idle is 13,000 RPM), draws air at 11,000 CFM, and is rated at 1350 hp
( I think its under rated )
Also NOTE the Twin Jet Powered Vespa Scooter at the bottom of the page !
