what shiney new stuff? :naughty

Mostly compliments from cookie, its backed up by a Motec M4 ecu, and i've had some fun doing an auto to manual conversion as well.

Got a Garrett GT 28 for a decent price, so i opted for that over a TD-05 turbo. I love the rims too Chris, 15" Hoshino racing, only bad thning is someone decided to gutter jump EVERY gutter in Brisbane.

Excellent work. Looking really nice.

Just a question.. does the bonnet clear the turbo?

Heh, asked the exact same question when i put the turbo on the manifold... I put a ruler between the top of the engine bay (near the w/screen wipers) down to the radiator. Got about 2 inch clearance. *goes and buys 7m of heat shielding*

Yeah, going back to white deeks. Its a 2 pack mixed white and is f king bright when the sun hits it. Car will eventually get a complete respray, but thats a LOT of dollars down the track.

No idea what brand the skirts are. They seem to be made of a rubber/polyurethane rather than conventional fibreglass. One is horribly damaged so i was thinking of trying to get a mold made up to reproduce them...

That pic looks great showing the intercooler out the front with the piping.

Can't wait for you to get it running.

Look for ACL 'Pro series' heat shielding. It's a hard flexible sheet that works really well. I have some on my other car and the bonnet over the exhaust manifold is now the same temerature as the roof, where previously is was damn hot (I thought I was going to lose the paint).
Can't recommend it enough.

Thanks for that Mrbishi, that would definetely be the way to go then.

Rad, you can cut loose in mine round the track as soon as i get it finished.

And as soon as i've got your keys in my hand for a few hot laps myself. :)
