Hi All,
Just noticed this site. Have had my JA starion for the past 10 years almost and have slowly done it up to stage its at. Still heaps more to do though.
Great to see so many starions are still around.
Just brieflyrunning gear mods: I have put in a modified 2.6 litre with Pajero head, custom manifolding, intercooled and controlled by a Wolf 3D computer. Supra 5 spd, custom clutch, locked diff. Custom suspension.
Dont have any recent dyno runs I can show but she goes pretty well.
Anyway, just thought I'd say, awesome website..
Will download some pics just have to figure out how

Havent raced it down the 1/4 mile but have slaughtered a mates 12.3 sec commodore.
Biggest problem is getting it off the line.
Initial dyno figures during run-in were 238rwhp at 9psi at CB Wilson's in Moorabbin.
Since then, boost is up to 18psi and I have made up a custom intake manifold. The injectors are at their max duty cycle so I have to upgrade that next before I dyno it again.
Will try load some pics tonight.

Yeah, what's the restrictions on this "Quickest Starion" carry on? Does it just have to be in a Starion shell? This car is a 2.6l with pajero bits! Shouldn't qualifications suggest 4G63!?
On a different note, keen to have a look at some pics! :beer

Might have to split it into 6 categories???
4G63 (2L) SOHC,
4G63/64 (2.4L Stroker) SOHC,
4G63 (2L) DOHC,
4G63/64 (2.4L Stroker) DOHC,
4G63 (2L) DASH SOHC
4G54 (2.6L) SOHC
Any other engine in a Starion (VG30, 350 Chev, SR20DET etc)
And then there is all of the above with NOS... ? Getting complicated... ?

I welded up the pillar vents to make it look a bit cleaner.
Looks different I guess.
Spray job was a quicky and not really happy with the color so I'll re-do it all one day.

Thanks
Once I get the injectors sorted and re-tune it, I'll see how it goes down the 1/4.

Rather than have so many categories why not have 2 categories
2L sohc and converted engine, ie different capacity, different number of cams, or other engines. As for Nos indicate whether nos was used in the run or not.
