Sunday Afternoon at the spit

Post by WidebodyWoody »

Here are a few pics that my mate took of my car last week. You can see my stereo install in the boot which isn't finished yet as well. :D

OMG thats F**king nice mate

I see you have a cold air intake setup in the right hand airdam hole, My widebody has a oil cooler there, infact mines got 3 oil coolers. Im not sure what they all do. Its got the engine oil cooler in the normal pozzy and two more on each side of the airdam. I know there not for the powersteering as its the normal pipe style cooler for that. Any idea what they do? I will have to get under the thing to trace the holes I guess.

Anyway very very nice starion, well done mate :beer :beer

In the US, the cooler on the passenger/right side only there if the car is an automatic. The cooler on the driver/left side is for the AC condenser..

Not sure about other countries, but in the US, only the 89 model had upper seatbelts in the rear.. My 88 only had lapbelts in the back.

And from the pictures here, you wouldn't be able to tell if he had 3-point belts in the back. I could be wrong though.. :D
See this picture below.

You see where the harness belt is mounted? That's mounted in the same spot that the 89's are.

My back seats back seatbelts. But they are mounted like the center part of any normal back seat in any car. Thats where they sit, so I have actually hidden them under the seat so they can't be seen either.
