Would love to get a look under the bonnet there. Look at the battery location sticker. It has a power kill switch at the front of the car.

Very interesting.

thats one of THREE original group a touring cars still around from the '80s. that car was raced at bathurst for a few years, in the same white yellow & red livery u see here, its all over the bathurst yearbooks from back then.

it was originally a JA group E (production touring ie showroom stock) car but was updated to JB spec when it was rebuilt for the group A touring car class. the JB tail lights are obviously rarer and more expensive than JA`s.. and manual mirrors are lighter than power units!

Have seen this car on more than 1 occasion & spoken 2 driver about his car . It was great 2 seehim battleing with v8s &catching some of them with his better corner speed. He doesent have cam specs

i posted pics of me in chooks car ages ago. And yeah you should see the engine bay, its quality you just dont see anywhere but under the bonnet of a race car. Top bloke too.
