Post by ukstariont3 »

hi all, just a quick one. engines coming along, got a few pics--

hoping to be in and running by the end of the month :smokin

just got to run it in for 1000miles = not much boost, its gona be hard
:o

the spec is- 87mm wisco pistons for a gen2 eclipse turbo, balancing shafts removed, ported/polished head, eclipse turbo metal cometic head gasket tomie cam pulley, fidenza ali flywheel, act street clutch(able to hold around 440lb/ft torque) , all vacuum pioping replaced with silicone pipe.
also installing a larger intercooler (same width, but around 3x as deep :D ), intercooler water spray(boost operated) and my large turbo( see other post- garrett turbo) hope fully not too laggy, hoping the lightened flywheel will help build revs quicker- thus building boost quicker??????

oh well, just thuoght i would share alll this with you guys.
:beer

after run-in, new injection system will be fitted :D :D

you reckon i could run it in with this????????? lol rofl
Image

all joking aside, its nealry there. final comp ration turnt out at 8.42:1,
which should make it a bit nicer to drive off boost, and combined with the ally flywheel, should make it quite responsive :D
