114.4 pcd +20 offset, simmons make some really nice rims but you'll pay for them.

You can raise your boost to around 10psi with no intercooler or pickup a stock intercooler and raise it to 13psi (maxium before factory cut out kicks in). Might want to invest in a 2.5"/3" exhuast before you do that though.
Watch your speed - It's virtually impossible to pick it out of the carpet if it gets blown off the table.

Welcome aboard,
Not much around kit wise, do a search here and you will find a few answers.
Yeah you can cool it and put a BOV on. As above, exhaust would also be a good mod early in the peace.
Rear wing, personal choice, but fitting may cause issues if you have to strip the fibreglass part off the rear window. There's not a lot of room for fitting. Again, search and you will find options. There was also a JD style group buy a while ago, there may be one left if that's your style.
Front seats are leather, rears are vinyl.

Wheels are a bitch! Almost impossible to find wheels in our offset, but they ARE out there! As for your kit, there is a limited amount available, but if your looking to be different you'll have to make a custom! I have a rear wing on mine, but it is a custom attachment.

Be careful running boost through your engine too. Keep in mind that for $800, that engine will be the original which means it's 22 years old! Maybe a full rebuild is in order as will a turbo rebuild! These things are sadly just a few of the necessitys of owning a Starion, but get it right and you'll have a responsive, tidy, historic gem of a car that will entertain you till death! :beer

thanks heaps for the info peepz,

where would be a good starting place to look for bumpers etc off a 180sx or something so i can get them modded?
also does anybody know anything about the old school BEC turbo timers? mines not working. as for the BOV, is it a special one to make that sort of rattle blow off instead of a sneeze?
where can i source a front windscreen?
sorry dont know much about these sorts of things.

I had a BES turbo timer on mine, ended up stuffing up everynow and then so i replaced it with a Apexi one. add me to MSN and i can tell you how to put in a new one using the wiring from the BES unit.
Before modifying it at all you should probably do a compression test on it to. might help tell you what condition the motor is. also see if it blows smoke, if it does might be turbo needing rebuild.

*If its all good the first thing is a Exhaust. i cant beleive how much better my car ran with a better exhaust. 2.5 or 3inch exhaust will do.

*Put in a front mount intercooler next. you can fit a decent size cooler in the front of a Starion. Put a BOV on at this stage if you want. but flutter from the turbo on a bigger exhaust sounds 10 times better.. well to me anyway.

*put in a boost controller of your choice although i run a E-boost2 you dont have to go to that extravagance. id say 10 psi will do on a stock motor. you can probably run a bit more but its better to play it safe.

For looks department buy the JD rear wing set (3 peices, 1 rear and 1 each side) go to this link to see what they look like on my JD http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.php?t=6423
Also fit a front bar. curvy shapes dont really suit the Starion as its a fairly straight car. try a Coltspeed or JD replica front bar.

Wheels are a pain in the arse to find. some mags from R31 skylines fit but whatever you choose try get them trial fitted before handing over money to see if they will fit properly. and as said above Simmons mags on Starions looks awesome.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.

Coltspeed do a combo front bar and airdam

Advanced in SA do an airdam and sideskirts

Aero tech does front & Rear airdams and skirts
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

Look for a local bodykit maker if you wanted to modify bumpers to fit the starion. The only off the shelf options are the ones starion_turbo mentioned.

Any windscreen mob can source you a front windscreen.

As for rims you can fit +24 offset if they are 7 inch wide, the main issue is the rims hitting the struts at the front with high + offset.
Starions are a disease, the only cure is poverty.
