Chunkhead's Ride!!!

Post by chunkhead »

I just realised I have never posted MY car on the forum, just bits and pieces here and there, so tell me what you think! Body will be getting a full respray in the same colour, no decals or badges, but will have the new chrome Mitsubishi emblem on the bonnet and rear with a custom "Starion" chrome badge! Front airdam will be moulded nicer to front bar and rear wing will be attached better! Car needs to be lowered as it is too high with new wheels! Engine is already in the works, no expense spared, hoping for a good 300+Bhp ATW! Interior has been spruced up, but will probably get a full make over at some point! All comments welcome! :beer

looks great. I reckon you should ditch the mud flaps and sill moulding when you get it resprayed.
Did you paint the dash black?

Never thought about the mud flaps, cheers! Yeah, dash is black! Used that VHT Vinyl Dye, works ok, but won't be permanent as I don't think dash is vinyl!? No problems with the doors though! I am waiting on more Krylon Fusion from the U.S, like what I used on the centre console! It's made for plastics and is chip and crack proof! Will also flex with the plastic! :D

my suggestion: ditch the sill moulding but retain the mud flaps, just cut the black section off so they`re a more modern shape, looks great i did it on my orange thing. just use another pair of rears on the front so u dont have the cut out for the sill mould! :pimp
