Thats a very tidy looking example you have there :D
Love the chrome window rollers! Only found on the JDM GSR-I Starion, which cancelled production in 1983, so a manual winder winder = DAMN RARE. And it looks fabulous.

1996 Nissan Maxima VQ30DE (for sale, suit someone who likes the feel of boats when driving)
Brought it off an asian guy for 450nz
He let it sit for too long and its deregistered.
Its done.......65,000 genuine kays and its rust free, but has faded paint.
I did think of getting it re-rego'ed but I have too many damn cars in my drive,so sadly im gunna wreck it out :(
Got me that mint drivers door tho..... :D

65,000Kms?
God damn!
I will buy a LOT of parts off it. Really I should just buy the whole thing off you. But I already have 3 and I'd get murdered if I brought another chassis home.
Engine, gearbox, steering components, might make my GSR-X in to something worth driving :D

Really?
Yeah,I did think of using the window regulators and door trims in my 86.
I'd have to paint the panels black tho.
Just had a look on the 1/4 and it says GSRII??

Yeah the GSR-II thing confused me as well.
I have a 1983 GSR-II and it has air/con, electric windows, and electric mirrors, so I figured that was a GSR-I and I couldn't see it properly, eck I will never figure out these cars. Crazy Mitsubishis.

I've re-registered a car before. Its like a slighty harder WOF, cost me around $800 including a few new bits on a Galant I had. With only 65,000Kms on the clock, I'd get it re-registered but I am a Starion nutcase. TC06 + intercooler and it'll fly like an EX :)
If you decide not to strip it, but can't be bothered doing it yourself, we might be able to make a deal, so yell out if you have any ideas. I have spare doors and two road legal spare Starions I'll also be up those ways at Christmas.
If you do part it, I'd really love the front steering setup :) My GSR-X has made it through 235,000Km and both the engine and steering are getting tired. 65,000Km and that car should still feel like new to drive.
