About 100mm (1/3 of the core) will be exposed to direct air below the bumber...

I'm looking to make some sort of lip to help push more air up there but it being such a large intercooler I'm not really worried.

I'd like to drop the car a couple of inches as well so I didn't want it hanging too low.

You still got room in there, shove a nice big ICE thermofan on the back of the I/C, they only a few centimeters thick and you'll get better engine cooling for radiator and oil cooler as well.

hi tomsun.. very interested in your setup.. planing to get a cooler which is exactly the same size as what you have..

what did u have to relocate? ie. power steering, radiator overflow, battery? from the pics, it doesnt look like you had to relocate the oil cooler..

i plan to mount it exactly the way you have mounted yours..

can i see some pics of the route you made your pipework?

i just noticed that u actually welded it onto your bumperbar! hows that working for you?

With the brackets welded to the bumper it seems strong enough. I didn't want to cut the chassis rails. It probably could have been mounted a little lower but it will be fine.

Washer bottle and other spray bottle and over flow bottle got the ass. Got to make new ones.

The powersteering was relocated due to the angle the turbo was facing.
Oil cooler(s) stayed where they were.

Had to make a new battery tray and brackets and jam a small battery in that spot on an angle (Bosch NS40) only just fits. Infact the earth terminal touches the body... (Just a bit of extra earth) :)

I'll try to get more pics when it is running. I took the day off work yesterday to wire up the computer. Got about 80% done, just go to do the relays and fuses. :beer
