Took the car for a play last night and managed a 13.4 so am quite happy. Other runs werent quite so good but i can see a few areas where i can pick up some time so will work on sorting those out in the near future.
First race in the knock outs i lined up against a 370kw atw supra running M/T rubber and it was all over.
Got beaten by 2 supras on the night, i will have my revenge though and take them down .

Will get some sticky rubber, fit my launch control unit and shiftlight, wind up the boost for another 50kw atw and i might even try and get a 3.9lsd diff, might help the bogging im getting going into 2nd.
I reckon that should knock off at least a second, maybe even more.

Congratulations for the run. You're doing what I intended to do, but was unable to. Nice work and definately keep at it, great to see somebody representing Starions at Meremere :)

I think I saw your car race a year or so ago at the MMC Nationals. Was a red Starion, and made a nice squeal right through 3rd gear, was impressed. Im down in Wellington now, so doubt Ill get to see it running again (if that was your car, could be someone elses, lots of red Starions).

I drove my GSR-3 to that event, but it died on the way home, lucky I didnt try and race it.

Spidersweb, that would have been my car.
Even on the prepped track friday night i was squeeling the tyres right through 2nd gear. Definnately need some sticky rubber on the back.
I got a few plans for it, but am aiming to run low 11s so i can stay in C2.
Having the usual issues ya get with new setups and getting used to them.
