Yeah, its a bit girly i know, but you'd have to drive one to understand, large amounts of fun. Needs some nice 15" wide mags, and a hard top tho. I'll own a starion again in the not to distant future, but at the moment i need something i can insure ;).

as is mine, very much lacking in the 'go' department, but wow, it does go around corners well.

You will also enjoy an engine bay that doesn't need a maid to keep it clean :)

Nice start for a good little run around.
We've had one come through work every now and then, this things supercharged apparantely from the factory. Mazdaspeed options all over the place. Very quick little car. I've had a look around at the japanese auctions ( while browsing for a nice widebody  ) no sucess yet. Maybe that's a good thing.
They're a great handling little car with some mods, good fun on the racetrack too. Around the corner from home is the MX-5 factory, on a members night there MX-5's line the street both sides. Not all of them are std mind you, a sight to see. Must be alot of hairdressers driving other cars now, sorry bout that.
Might be an idea to look them up as they seem to be the source for some of the good go fast bits regarding the MX-5, that would be the MX-5 factory and not the hairdressers.

I put a chip in one of these not long ago and it made fair amount of improvement. Very good car and lots of fun.
