He was lapping faster so I let him through, but was surprised that the M3 wasnt' that quick up the hill, but much faster around the RH sweeper down the hill.

Never fear - I have my eye on a front sway bar and some new tyres.

Yes it looks like you could have kept him out if you wanted to argue on that corner going up the hill.

Yeah it's no slouch in a straight line. Shocks need replacing though. :(
