did your 64 original inlet have a foward facing throttle body ?
On the bigger plenum volume thing, I always wonder if it takes into account the volume of the piping from the intercooler to throttle body... since the throttle plate will be fully open, when any of this matters, eh.
nice simple clean setup!
glad you came with this 64 info. Eliminated a lot of 'guesswork' for me

quest, the MPI that alot of the 2L people use here is actually off the 4G64B engine in a commercial van called L300. ;) So that is what is being used here, hence referred to as the L300 manifold. The throttle body faces the exhaust manifold on these MPI manifolds. There are plenty of pics around here of them and they aren't that expensive.

cool NX,
I pulled my 4g64 from a mitsu truck, called the L200? in some markets.
The intake looks more like the sonata, instead of the triagle shaped plenum on the 300.... won't matter for a plenum mod anyway, eh.
I've noticed sick power from turbo 4s with stock and moded inlet manifolds... just curious about the big plenum and how the long runners factor in here.
I have a sonata intake to go mpi on the 2L.
