New paint & wheels on the JB

Got the JB back from the painters on Friday morning and worked flat out till midday today to get it back together. This meant complete interior, dash, front screen, lights, seals, intercooler. I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out for a $2K paintjob.
As it was before

Clear coat peeled off roof, bonnet, guards and looked shithouse. Main incentive to get the respray.

Rust found under windscreen. Also found bottom of both guards, under hatch seal, and under original aerial hole.

As it is now with 16" V4 simmons and Advanced spoilers airdam;

Things to note - clean out / rust proof your plenum and behind lower front guards on a regular basis (every year or so). A bit of preventative maintenance will help avoiding the repair bill.
Also found the original funnel to fill the rear washer bottle! I never knew it existed.

What a difference!

It looks fantastic. I love that spoiler with the JB/JD bumper.

That looks great, the wheels really suit the car. Now you need a 3pc rear spoiler :drool:

Awesome work, really nice.

I dont think a 3 piece spoiler would add much to your car, might square it off a bit to much at the back? I love how it looks now :).

(triple century post)

I just thought it could do with it since it had a front spoiler, sure it looks great as is but I think the 3pc would compliment the rest of the work done :)

No rear spoiler for me. I think they look lower & sleeker without.

8" & 9" - the previous owner of the wheels has somehow fitted 205 wide tryes to the 8" rim. The sidewalls are blown out like a lowrider.

What's the score with the front license plates? I'm looking at a similar measure to help reduce the radar resultant speeding fines.
