It ain't a starion but this board is about as close as it gets for this car. To those that don't know it is a 1975 LA Lancer originally powered by a 'mighty' 1400 donk.

I took it for its maiden voyage after the rebuild last weekend. Alas diff and gearbox need to be removed again for adjustment and the master cyliner is looking a tad melted (even with HPC coated exhaust). A few more weeks should see it back on the road to run the engine in. Initial tentative tests show the turbo to be more responsive than expected. Results will be forthcoming.

i have a 1977 lancer with starion engine & gearbox, 3inch exhaust, filter, boost, bov, no cooler YET. as a daily driver with the 3:9 arse end it goes hard smashes my mates s14200sx with similar mods so yours should be a total animal!

I've seen that car in the flesh and it's pretty damn good :)

I thought you had it running a while back though?

Now that you've finished that, come help me with my engine mounts :D

Cheers guys.

The engine is brand new and the motec untuned so it's still a bit of an unknown. I'm currently trying to fit a remote reservior to the master cylinder and fix some problems with the clutch. I'm getting sick and tired of pulling it apart repeatedly though...

well this makes my 1977 Lancer look like a total shitheap :(

i have Stage 1.5 cam (have a racing stage 4 i took out)
DGV weber
extractors -2" exhaust
Crane Cams optical igniton
reconed 1600 saturn.

fact is a car as old as ours it costa ALOT of money to d that stuff. starion engine would be nice to fit, but too hard to reg/insure.

Manifold is indeed a TR/S (well spotted!) with customisation. T/B is from LS1 commo.
Turbo is GT35R. Probably should also mention the motec M4, W58 supra box, & 9" diff before someone asks.
