White JB daily

Post by niss720 »

Heres some more pics of my new white JB.
Its in good condition inside and out but i got it cheap as it has a siezed balance shaft. Motor has port and polished head, double valve springs and a re-ground cam.

My plans for it include getting a new grill and moving that hideous intercooler, rebuilding the motor with a TD05 turbo and lowering the front a tad more.

God I hated maroon interiors originally... But they've grown on me! Definately on a white car, looks very sharp.

Lots of nice bits on that car, but of a tidy up and it'll be even more awesome.

any plans to change wheels/tyre combination? I can't help but feel those white/red walls detract from a cleanish car.

Yea I want to flip the tyres on it so the red and white walls are on the inside, I'll keep the wheels for a while but may change them down the future. Money better spent on perform better. It might become a grip car as I already have a drifter :D would be good to go on some hill climbs and grip days aswell as just drifting. But for now it is just the daily

Not sure that I'm a huge fan of the morone interior though, might try get a 4l tin of vinyl die and do the entire interior.

serious, this ^^^^^^^^^^

The porn star interior DOES grow on you, so much so that you'll eventually think the JA grey looks really povo..

Niice looking unit, only thing I'm not a fan of is the black bits on the bonnet.

The JB has now recieved a fresh motor and engine bay, with a new turbo and MPI intake. Im about to start wiring in the Stinger V4 ecu and need to find a sonata 4+1 slot optical dizzy if anyone has any spares in the shed?
What model / year sonata do these come off?

Hopefully i can get it done and tuned by Steve Knight here in Adelaide before Christmas
