No thanks, not a fan of that style wheel - they would have been the first part I changed if I had bought the car!

Out of interest, how many different style wheels were there that came standard on starions?

I can count 4 (or possibly 5)

JA style (like in my avatar)
JB style
Eurospec (above)
Widebody (like in my avatar)

and did these wheels come with the dodge technica model in the usa?

We should try and collect all these details and put them somewhere on the site about all the different stock configurations you can get - wheels, interior, tail lights, lsd, type of turbo etc

DROOOOOOL, do you know how much it went for? looks very tidy, loving that engine bay, the A/C still has a belt on it!!!!!!

Ive seen another stock starion wheel, its flat feced with lots of little squares cut out of it, very very ugly.

It went for NZD$5000, it was listed for $5500 but he said he would take my offer of $4500 - but stupid me wanted a look at it first. Ah well - wasn't meant to happen. Not like anyone was going to buy my old one anyway :x

ummm, im not tryn to be a smartarse or anything but your price is a bit steep considering this is the land of unlimited imports.... $1500 can get a pretty reasonable car if you have a goood look around...

and yeah, im not tryn to be a smartarse, just my 2c worth

No offence taken. Depends on your definition of pretty reasonable though - if you mean late model, low kms, its either been thrashed or it has a major fault they aren't telling you about that you are going to have to spend heaps on. Out of interest, if you had $1500 right now to spend on a car, what would you buy?

I reckon it's the normal price for a starion in full working order.

well, i did have $1500 to spend... but i decided to spend it on my starion...

it would depend on whether i was gonna try and make a few dollars or not... id probably go for a cefiro, as standard as poss', that way it will sell easy (drifters have no imagination when buyn a car).

i buy a few cars from finance companies to onsell to make some dollars from... last one i picked up was a '91 honda ascot, i paid $980 for it, put a wof and one tyre on it and sold it four days later for $1700, easy money.
(and i see the guy who bought it just about every day and he has had no problems with it)

its only really oddball cars like the starion, early celicas and RX7s that seem to reasonably expensive for what you get...
oz, here i come....
