Clean... Still no polish

Post by Mick »

Finally gave it a wash and shammy... still no polish after respray but she looks ok. Never remember to stop in and get the right polish...
Put decent dunlop 245s on the back to clear guards but still having slight clearance issues... So many little things to iron out. Ideally it will sit about 50mm lower in the back but need more camber. Thanks fro looking will post more photos as it comes along if theres interest

Looks very impressive, well done.

Wheel diameter's a little big for my tastes but still a very sharp fitment.

JK it turns out not my taste either. without bodykit its still a bit wide to run low. but cant exactly sell them on the side of the road now :?

Tomsun, just a 20g, motec, a good tune at 18 psi made 205 kw atw and 550nm atw,big fronty, acl head gasket and studs... nothing major. the engine bay photos are on a slightly older thread.

Looks good Mick. How did the putting the rear suspension back together? Does it sit at the height you were after?

yeah dave i remember he mentioned that, without a bodykit it'd be much easier, and its been pumped an inch each side already.

Car looks great, Mick. The only thing I would add is the factory rear wing kit***. :beer

thanks mate, appreciate the kind word, not really a fan of the factory spoiler on cars that arent real low, if i can get some more camber on the back and wind it down on the coil overs its an option...

There's nothing wrong with a good condition rubber spoiler and the Starion turbo decal on the back. Looks great esp. on the dark coloured stazzas.

Dirty Sanchez has a good one up for grabs!

Also, is that rear pod sideskirt made by Advanced spoilers? Great look imho!

well spotted mate,
they were custom made by the guys that did the paint and panel, it does look silly having 10' wide rears out that far with a standard bumper.

advanced spoilers ripped me off, the front was 70mm too wide and the side skirts 50 too short.
didnt want to know about it. be careful.
