My Starion ( Melbstazz) *UPDATE *

Post by MelbStazz »

Here it is finally, thanks to Fr335tyl3r for hosting the pic's :beer
This is how the car was purchased.
Totally stock, bar the 2 1/2" exhaust that came with the car. It also has a Autotechnica Red steering wheel :x n window tint .

*update*
After many years/months of cursing and being patient i have finally got the stazz registered, :D
Last night was spent cruising through the dandy's and other little twisties around the hills. gotta lurv the cool mountain air.
Thanks again to all those that have supplied parts and put valuable time into the car, cheers again Mista Flav.
I'm sure that there will be many more hours spent on mods and personalizing it now.

Mr D

Just click the 'Img' button, paste your URL and push the 'Img' button again. Eg like this (but all in one line):

cheers androoz :beer :D,
i've checked ur ride and it's a schweet 1,
:x the front lip is a very sore point. I took it off to straighten after rubbing a curb
My ex flat mate ( biatch) stole it and i haven't seen it since. Don't know why she did it coz she don't own a stazz. Very p'd off.
I've only recently got a replacement and that's at work getting beaten up at the moment as well as the replacement front guard (old one was rusted through down the bottom. A common problem i found out after trying to source a replacement. :x ).
While i was looking for a replacement i came across some cheap widebody front guards, i think they might still be around. :? can always check. That inspired me to do a wide body conversion but then the ol $$ came into it.
The only rust spot on the entire car is on the top corner of the windscreen, 5c piece in size. Once the guard and lower spoiler/lip are fixed and ready to be painted so will the rest of the car.
It's straight all over and not much sign of abuse. It came with the service history manual. kinda bonus i thought.
I'm still deciding on whether i will put a body kit on at the moment, i'm just trying to get it running while it's at work (panel shop).
It's going to be painted a custom red colour, when there is some more progress on the outside of the car i will post some more pic's in the different stages and when finished.
While it's been sitting there i have fiddled around with the interior, painting bits and pieces a custom metallic pearl combination. As well as changing some lights and around the instrument cluster and other places. Pics posted soon. :D
So i guess its a work in progress and it sure helps working at a panel shop.
I've been thinking of rims and i would love something deepdish, i saw some ol school Hotwires really deep dish all polished up and they looked kinda trick. not as good as simmons though. oh well more $$$ but i love the car. :D

:x yes, can't be to happy bout that. I would call it divine intervention to get your car the way that you want it. Even though its not a nice experience you can now get the things done that you wanted to get done.
