Laps of Baskerville raceway.

Post by avandull »

Took the Starion to Baskerville yesterday. I did 1.05 which is a personal best for me. The LSD and Bridgstone RE55's were excellent. The twincam went well too.

Here is the utube footage.

The first two laps are worming up the tyres and breaks.

I was all by my self out there. Car runnning 15 psi of boost. Around 200KW at the wheels. VR4 motor. Standard cam. The KKR430 turbo charger is excellent. Forged pistins and conrods ARP mains and head studs, metal head gasget. I have had no life for over a year now.

Great footage. Nice little advert to show the fellas that haven't been on a track.

Good combination with VR4 motor and KKR turbo it seems...
Is the LSD original or put on later? Big or small?

Purchased the LSD from some one on the forum. I think it is a 3.5:1 LSD. Its the tall one. Lots of unusable top speed. But it is still an LSD. It provides a whole new word of grip, and cornering speed. It gets hot on the track. Fitted an oil temp sensor to the LSD, It got to 110 degrees after 5 laps.

Thanks fellas, Im still pretty slow, but some more practice and I hope to crack a 1:02 which is not a bad time around Baskerville.

Yes, as long as no one else has booked it. You pay your money, fill out a form and away you go.

3 inch stainless exhast. Next one will be mild steel. Stainless cracks too easy.
Airbata, what are tracks like over there.
