Wheels to be restored

I finally got my 2nd hand wheels from Japan (3 months wait).
From the doggy description on yahoo auctions I really didn't know what to expect.

They turned out to be a set of old skool WedsSports 3-piece mesh rims (In need of a restoration and missing centre caps)
Fronts are 17 x 7.5" +16 offset
Rears are 17 x 8.5" +16 offset

Anyone know that these wheels are called? (would love to know what the centre caps would look like)

Also, what colour should I paint the centres???

These are the other rims that I'm in the process of restoring. (17x7 +20, all round) Copies of Veilside Andrews...

I did like the way your Volks came in gold
up but if I go gold, I'm leaning toward either BBS Gold or Enkei Gold ... at this stage.
Both formulations are listed on the Spies Hecker paint website...

black and gold is an awesome colour combo, just like the old JPS bmw's and lotus etc

Or black centres with polished lip for that darker look.
