Did another dirt sprint on Sunday, missed out on 3rd place in class by 1 sec, oh well theres next time.

Second run on the long track, i had a massive tank slapper right at the end.

Final run on the short track, this is now by pb on the short track, a little bit sideways.

Thanks panda, hopefully I can improve on them next time around.

Wantsom, it sure is, but I can imagine how much more fun it will be with mpi :D

Oldie, i still need abit more practice to keep up with you, it will be great to have a few more starions competing.

Vulpes, thanks mate, i cant blame you for not wanting to take it on the dirt with all the effort of restoring it, especially the paint work. Thats what i like about mine, the paint is getting abit old so I dont mind going out and having a go on the dirt.

Wouldnt an old Lancer with a 2.6 fitted and locked diff be a weapon for this sort of event. Plenty of torque, immediate throttle response and a light car.

:o

Something like that would give the Dattos & Eskies a bit of a hurry up in the hands of a good steerer but it would be a bit of a beast with a locked diff due in part to the short wheelbase
Had a few laps in an ex 11 second drag car that had
Holden red motor, auto, locked diff all in a Datto 1200 coupe a few years ago.
It was awsome, scarey& sent me premiturely grey LOL

Wantsom, there is a father and son team that run a lc lancer at these events, they also have a two door one they run at hillclimbs.
