I'm wrapping this thing up finally. I just have a bunch of small stuff to do, mainly alot of interior painting and reassembly,

I picked thing up not running. Had been sitting 10 years with a new paint job. Was a automatic g54b car. Engine turned over real slow and the oil ahd gummed everything up. I decided to go with a g54b turbo and put the engine I had rebuilt about a year ago in. It has a whopping 700 miles on it.

I cant stand automatics, so a 5 speed swap was ni order. I sourced a starion clutch pedal assembly and 5 speed starion box. I also managed to make a front half of a 86 l200 driveshaft work wiht the rear half of the auto challenger shaft. This made for a bolt in :) I used some 1/8th angle iron for transmission mounts. Opened up the transmission shifter hole a little and sourced a shifter with boot and all from a staz.

A buddy hooked me up with a stock intercooler and oilcooler. I had to do a bit of custom work to the intercooler lines as I fitted a td05h 14b housing in place of the 12a.

I ran a 87 intercooeld starion harness, and will be running a 88 ecu with a stock mas for the time being until i soruce a air filter for my 1g mas. I plan on running a greddy emanage blue piggyback down the road when I source a larger turbo.

I also have a set of early aus scorpion tails ready to put on. I have a sigma trunk spoiler on the way along with a late model scorpion front headlight grill. I'm working on collecting all teh parts for the later model headlight conversion.

Interior wise, it's getitng cleaned prepped and painted black. I haev a set of 88 cloth seats out of a old stairon I will be putting in. I will be sourcing a set of 14inch wheels or 15inch with some decenyt offset shortly. I had some konig rewind 14x7 -9 but the tires were only 45 series and I felt they were too skinny.

The car will be getting slammed with a side dump exhaust 3inch coming off the passenger side door. I think fo rnow I will urn a single 3inch, but later when I get the car lwoer I will split the 3 under the car into a twin 2.5 similar to the group a starion.

I should have my machined down big staz 25 spline lsd ready for the diff soon.

fear the horrible paint scheme! lol

I dont really like the louvers. I've been trying to source a regular window trim. I had a guy in the states that said he would get it for me but he seems to have flaked. They are for sale if you are interested :)

great job mate, you sure have put a heap of work into it. I feel sorry for you yanks though with your salty roads and rusty vehicles. When I lived there I was amazed at how rusty the cars were compared to Australia.
