here is the pic after the cut and the painting of my stereo unit job..

it sits a slight bit crooked, but thats coz i used a hammer do do part of the job rofl

i hope i find the time to fix it soon.

also i didnt do a good job spraying the bottom half of the plastic.. is there paint stripper that can get off spray paint from plastic?

where did you get your gear knob and boot from?
iv still got the original and it looks like i stole a 'toy' of my girlfriend and stuck it on my shifter...

the original boot does look a bit old school doesnt it.. :wtf:

The gear stick boot thingy off a GJ sigma fits perfectly and looks pretty much the same.

with my boot i just bought one of those universal ones, took the metal rectangle thingy out an put it inside the boot, looks as if it came with the car

wots a GJ sigma?
iv got a '85 sigma exceed (gsr-x) that i was gonna pinch the knob out of, is this a GJ? (mines a front drive turbo)
