What have I done??

Post by dirtygalant »

So I've gone and blown my savings on a car I probably shouldn't have bought (it's no Starion!). Oh well I've always wanted one from the day I've been into Mitsis.. you only live once and live is short etc etc

It's a 1991 E39A Galant VR-4 Evolution, that means extra things ontop of the usual VR-4 like 510cc injectors, TD05 big16g, larger intercooler, 4 bolt rear end with 3.909 diffs, bonnet vents, extra vents in the front bumper, different interior (although it currently has leather interior from a Super VR-4 in it)

Anyway, on with the pics

If you do.... make sure it's things you can put back to standard like wheels etc...
I know JAS took the factory exhaust off the widey so it doesn't get distroyed but kept it so he can put it back on if he needs... etc

Where did you get it from?

Yeah, I took the factory wide body exhaust off to try and stop it rusting. Maybe a little silly.. lol but thats me and starions.

This is the one that the guy before you went to Mitsi and managed to get a brand new factory rear muffler right?
I was reading up on NZMMC about it a while ago...

yeah that's the one - he would replace stuff with genuine items regardless of the cost. Mitsubishi Japan didn't have a muffler on shelf so they actually made one up to specs and then sent it over.

Great car and in great condition, sorry for this question, but i assume it's a 4x4? We never had these over here..

All great, but get rid of the number plate at that place, blocking all the I/C.

cheers

I know it was advertised for a steal... that's why I almost bought it myself. You couldn't even buy a mongreled up modded Evo 0 for the price the chap was advertising this for.
