Actually mate, the new Bosch Injectors have a really improved spray pattern & idle very nicely. I know of cars with 2000cc injectors that idle like standard.

And he would have to empty the tank before putting the e-flex or e85 in and doing the flex fuel tuning. But after that, the sensor automaticaly measures the amount of ethanol in the fuel and adjusts the tune as you drive.

What fuel pump do you have in there now?

Aaron knows. Go for e85 + sensor + Bigger Bosch pump + Bosch injectors + new fuel line = more boost + HP

I also have a couple of Bosch fuel pumps and BOV's lying around that I don't need.

I have to back off on the spending. The E85 sounds like the way to go but it's going to have to wait. Getting smashed will bills at the moment. 2 rego's turned up the same week. $1,000 for each. So I'm selling the 1991 Verada that I was using as a daily driver while working on the starion.

Took it for a drive today with a wideband LM-1. The AF ratios look good so I'm not going to worry about a re-tune with JEM for now. I'll use the Station my daily driver.

Also found an intercooler pipe had pushed its way out of the silicon joiner = major boost leak. Goes way better... Except... the wastegate is jamming and boost hits 20psi and boost cut if I keep the boot into it. I figure that wastegates are for pussys! :D

Also tempted to put in a BOV as the compressor surge is pretty evident.

Just bought a 1998 Pulsar SSS N15 Series 2 Hatchback as a daily driver so I can take the Starion off the road and do a bunch of things so it's ready (reliable) for a couple of track days.

One of the jobs is refurbishing a set of wheels. They are a set of Weds that I bought in from japan years ago. They are:
(f) 17x7.5 +16
(r) 17x8.5 +16

Currently trying to track down replacement outer lips which is proving to be very difficult as they are "40-hole".

Plan is to widen them out and assuming I have done my calculations right they should be:
(f) 17x9 -4 (225/45/17)
(r) 17x10 -4 (255/40/17) or (r) 17x9.5 +2 (245/40/17)

Just got to find the replacement parts.
And if I can't find them, I'll paint them up anyhow.

^ I inquired with them about replacement lips a couple of years ago with no luck. Just sent off an inquiry to if they can do them now. Thanks for the reminder about them. :beer

Starting the 5-stud conversion on the rears. Thanks Redzone for some after hours phone support.

Reckon I can get this thing back together (inc. retune, leaking oil lines, bonnet swap, etc, etc) before the next cruise?
:)

I'm not going to bother putting it on the car if it can't do the job. I'd rather do it once and do it right!

Pete, glad to see you're going 5 stud all round now :)

Made 263.5 rwhp with different turbo, more boost and tune.

Just need to sort a spark issue when on boost on the street, on the Dyno it was fine. Weird.

Also did a day at a motorkhana event at Eastern creek. A great day run by www.rtdc.com.au
