Who said anything about an actual lawyer!? You could easily whip one up on the old PC, print off clear pics, etc. I'd be making her pay, but be ever so polite! Even suggest she could repair her car too whilst she's at it! Make it clear your VERY pissed off and explain the rarity of the car! Or if you want to be nice, offer to pay for the damage (to your car), but you want her to admit it! :x

Look at the date on the original post, and learn from your folly.

FWIW, it's fixed now anyway, and I paid.
