Wow that does look good with the rims. How do you find the brakes after a few laps?

No problems at all - am just running standard brakes, braided brake lines and Bendix Ultimate pads up front and Remsa pads at the rear with Castrol Super Dot 4 fluid - no hint of fade at all and brakes very well even after 15 laps or so. Only thing I don't like is the pedal feel and it lacks that initial 'bite' of the brakes. Am too used to my daily driver which has large rotors and twin pots.

Are you calipers the same as the starion one or slightly different. How did you get the bendix ultimate pads? Because they're not available for the starion here.

exactly the same as starion brakes, I just got them from BNT automotive. The Ultimate sold here may not be the same as the Ultimate sold there, who knows.

Bendix is abit of a funny company, i recall axxis(bendix in the states) has the equal to ultmates, yet we dont have it here. Do you know the part number for the ultimates?

nah don't remember the part number, was the same as Starion brake pads with some letters on the end.

Hey mate,

Man thats looking great!!!!
How much better does the car handle with those springs?? Did you use adjustable shocks?

Hey mate she handles real well, sat real flat around the track anyway. Handling is quite neutral with not much understeer and a hint of oversteer if pushed. I gather when it's DOHC though it'll oversteer quite a bit more :P

I just used standard KYB replacement Starion inserts up front and SW20 MR2 rear inserts in the rear. I was in a hurry to get them back together and wanted to keep the costs down too, but in the future I'll look into upgrading the inserts again.
