Yup just those 3 holes. Im gonna check with the engineer who is certing the car whether they will be enough, if not will redesign the bracket to incorporate the old caliper mount holes. Being part of the strut itself i don't see how they wont be strong enough with appropriate strength bolts. I may xray them to check for stress cracks if there is any doubt for peace of mind as def dont want them breaking loose at 180kmh!

What pump are you using? Looks like the 4G one. If so bring the bracket down with you and Ill show you what I did to mine. Its pretty easy.

Lunacy, out of interest what rim size are you going to use and what clearance issues is there (if any).

Reason being - I'm just looking at options for the front brakes on my car. I have the smaller NSX rotors at the moment and a 4 pot caliper similar to the Willwood one but looking to upgrade to the larger NSX rotor with maybe a different caliper and working on clearance factors. I dont really want to outlay for bigger rims if I can avoid it (currently running 15" Simmonds).

A tip for the water pump pulley, try a WP pulley of a Nissan Pintara. I am using one and apart from being a tad smaller in overall diameter they align perfectly.

Car and motor coming along brilliantly too by the way :wink:

Im running 17x8.5" ROH rims so plenty of clearance. I have my widebody rims too but havn't actually checked if they will fit or not. Will let you know either way.
Cheers for the WP pulley tip too ive just found one of them so wil give it a try :) Cars getting there slowly but surely :)

I don't think that's enough. There is a lot of force when braking, I don't think those three bolts can hold that stopping power.
I modified the template that can be found on the technical section on this forum.

Well am very close to getting the engine and box into the car now.
Ive fabricated up brackets for the alternator and power steering pump, as well as modifying the engine mounts to clear the CAS on the firewall.

And also got some custom brake lines made up for the front, and got some EBC yellowstuff pads too :)

Gearbox is all cleaned up too, so just gotta seal the b2600 bellhousing and bolt the box on, after installing the fidanza and spec stage 3 clutch and then will get my exhaust manifold made up :)

Well finally got the engine and box in today - albeit temporarily. Wanted to get them in to make up the gearbox mount for the b2600 box, and also so i can take my car south and have the exhaust manifold made up.
Have decided to change the inlet to an NA one as well, for easier running of the coolant lines and less clutter, so have just begun cutting and shutting that too.
Will take the box off again once the mount is done, and install the flywheel and clutch then reinstall it.
Then can start doing all the other lil engine bay things, plus finish the brakes and get the driveshaft made up.

So you got that box in ok in the end mate...... Tight ahe :)

Nope box is in, reverse switch is sitting on my workbench! Off to mazda 2moro to try and fin a smaller one thatl work. Pain in the a$$!

Thats right!!! Forgot all about that! I ended up making a blocker for it. So my reversing lights dont work....

Nice like your solution for the ps pump & alternator.

Only doesn't this change the ps pump ratio? as in that it now spins faster as original?
