mrb1:heheh yeah i know, it's no small 16g in the response stakes that's for sure but for the sizing of the turbo and being plain bearing it's a good replacement for a tc06 ;) i'm yet to see what it will dyno but i've seen similar setups pull an easy 160kw @ wheels on a standard cam so here's hoping :D .

Had the old girl dynoed the other day made 150rkw @ 5500rpm on 15psi in shootout mode. A slipping clutch and 33 degree day didn't help much though :) but at least i know the tune is safe.

I had pretty bad blowby probs as it was blowing out the rear half moon seal but have now tapped out a new fitting on the front of the head for a catch can, has anyone had similar probs at this power level. Will put up the dyno sheet soon :).

Just do a comp test on that to keep me happy will you? I have seen this before but only on a car that had 3 cracked piston lands.

hehehe will do flav :) i was driving around for a week of boost without having the correct tune with these pistons so i thought it'd be safe until tune time. What's a decent comp ration for our engines? should it be blowing any smoke? Thanks for your help flav, you da man.

We are looking for something around at least 140 to 160 and even across the 4. If you have something wrong it will be a huge drop.

Can some one move me so im not 'beneath' rodger cordial?

Sounds like you may have the incorrect ring gap to get that sort of blow bye a leakdown test would be the go. Are you using any oil at all or any signs of oil in the intercooler?

Well bugger me 150kW
toysrus do some research on "choked flow" and you will see why even with increasing pressure no increase in airflow is possible.
