I've also been playing with the center console. As the old one was crumbling away to dust, I decided to make my own from aluminum. I didn't want it to look too different from the stock style, so I built it using the stock plastic inserts for the gear surround, coin tray and mirror controller. The finish is some leftover black leather from work. Here are some pics as it was built.

Wow dude, that console is super trick! And that's good torque from 12.5psi too. I take it you havnt touched the cam timing on the adjustable pulley yet?

Nah have not played with the cam pulley yet. The torque is great. passengers don't make any noticeable difference to acceleration. :D

LOVE that center console :)

That is exactly where I am going to be putting my gauges as well. I don't like them on the dash

Wow! Awesome colour.. what is it exactly?
Had my Torana hatch done in malachite green with extra metallic and I thought that looked good but hey, that Starion looks absolutely stunning!

The colour is HSV racing green pearl. Can't get it outside at the moment. I'm building a new workshop and the roof trusses are are now stacked right outside the door of the garage. A couple of weeks and ill get it outside again.
