Garys car is pure Starion porn :D .He bought it out to my place just to watch me turn a deep shade of green on the week end .
What you need to understand is that he is a perfectionist with his car and extremely professional in his carpet cleaning business and has the $$$$$$$$$$$$ to pay others to bring his car up to his exacting standards :beer

Those first photos, are they seriously the same car??
I find that hard to believe...
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?

Not picking shit but if that's the underside of your black/purple JB then that's crazy! I thought your car was in brilliant condition in & out and so I would expect the same underneath!

Surprised you didn't go a mandrel bent exhaust as you are chasing big engine numbers as well...

The big / major bends are mandrel bends BUT there are a couple of minor press bends in the "straight " section. Sorry Garry I just had to set you straight Enthuzed has an eagle eye LOL

I'm unable to see any "flex" part in the ex.piping...
Is it close to the turbo, or?

No flex needed .I have had a full 3 inch exhaust from the turbo since 93 (late last century )and have had absolutely zero problems

my exhaust guy tells me that flex joints are for east-west mounted motors, and not really all that helpful on north-south (i.e. correctly mounted) motors.

Absolutley.
I did mount one because of the BIG downpipe, to prevent some of the "mechanical stress" of speedbumps.... :D
