TOMSUN'S JB STARION - Updated 25.5.2014
Infill panel (polish aluminium and anodised black)
Rest of the aluminum pipework and air box is polished with clear anodisising. The reason for the clear anodising is it still shows the polished look but doesn't need to be constantly polished like raw aluminim. Really happy with the result.

Saw this car in the flesh/metal yesterday. Looks fantastic.. a picture may be better than a thousand words, but seeing it in person is definately better than a thousand pictures.
Good to see you again Pete :beer

Suspension is next on the list. Still unsure which way to go.www.18u wrote:Hey Pete,
Did you put those springs in yet?
Yours are still sitting on the shelf. Let me know when you want them back.
Thanks. It was good to catch up with you and see another starion. :beerthrash wrote:Saw this car in the flesh/metal yesterday. Looks fantastic.. a picture may be better than a thousand words, but seeing it in person is definately better than a thousand pictures.

Just painted my "Track" wheels black. I typically don't like black wheels but polishing them was taking forever and I gave in.
17x7 +20 all round.
Will be getting my 2nd hand set of 225/45/17 Kumho Ecsta V700 semi slicks mounted this friday. I hope they clear the front struts/spring perch.

Finally got the semi slicks mounted on the wheels I painted black a while ago. I typically don't like black wheels on a black car. It needs a polished lip or something to break it up. The yellow writing on the sidewall help to break it up and give it a bit of a "Track Car" look even though it's a long way from that. :D
My new favourite pic of my car (thanks to iXNAY & Hoonie)
