Well, as far as my experience, any project like this isn't finished until it's sold :wtf:

yeah i didn't like the white instruments on my old car either.. kinda made it harder to see.. I think if you used some decent coloured LEDs to backlight them, they would look fantastic, but with the normal lighting, the black faces are better imho

although.. i would've liked to have kept the boost gauge face.. the colouring on that is cool

and if you can drive it to work daily for a week, who are they to say it's not finished?? then again.. can you work with the stress of knowing that your beauty could be tarnished by some wanker at any moment? This thought always bugs me and my car doesn't even look as nice as yours

Thrash the instruments are illuminescent ( spelling ? ) so they were really easy to see at night. I just thought it lookd out of place. I will give the standard ones a go for a while and see. Its a process isnt it. Yes you are right, I dont want to take it anywhere where somebody can ruin the work I have done with a door or shopping trolley.

Great resto! The upolster did an awsome job with keeping the seats looking original... not sold on the centre console though. Over all she's a stunner!

Cheers Orion, the seats are original. I used a product from the USA called leather magic and believe me it is MAGIC. http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.p ... highlight=
I understand not everyone is going to like mods like the console but I have done it now to a couple of my starions and I really like the way they come up higher next to you. It makes you feel like you are sitting in the car rather than on it, the beauty of it is of course its a 15minute job to remove it and bolt the standard one back in. There is no cutting or damaging the car to fit it.
Cheers mate.

I am in the process of changing the drivers and passenger glass. Took them out of my parts cars today and is a very simple straight forward process. I want to get the windows tinted but didnt want to use scratched glass. Also dropped my spare gear lever assembly in today to teh machine shop so they can make up my spacer. If anybody wants some made up in 20, 25 or 30mm heights please let me know and I will find out how much he wants for them.

Thanks for the pic :-)

Actually, there's more there than meets the eye, as the intercooler and pipes are made up of factory components.

Good for some who want to intercool there JA Starion using parts accessible from US ebay!
Probably looking at $200-$250 worth including shipping!!!

Russell Coight: Some of the animals are nocturnal, so the best time to see them is at night. Only you can't see them, because it's dark.
