yeah here's hoping! just got to make sure the engine holds together (which is why I'm weary of using the 2-bolt mains block) and that whatever gearbox I put behind it is going to be up to the task. Lately have been thinking instead of the R154 I go for a T56 instead - they are much cheaper to acquire in Australia than they are in NZ!

Brisbane - but the car is still in NZ in storage. I just thought I would update the thread seeing as it hadn't been updated in years. Heading back for a wedding and small holiday shortly but unlikely I will get enough time to work on the car.

still have the VR-4 and the Eterna in NZ, I sold my Galant GT Coupe along with my fleet of daily drivers. Felt good going from 5 cars to 2 cars.

In Australia I have a shitty Camry which as reliable as it is, it completely and utterly bores me to death to the point where I often walk/bus/train instead. I'm going to sell it soon and replace it with something somewhat exciting.

Isn't driving in Brisbane traffic exciting enough for you :?

haha Brisbane traffic isn't that bad - I try not to drive through the city in peak times anyway. Most of my commuting has been from West End to Carole Park for work, but am about to begin work in the CBD so can walk or bus in to the city.
