Video footage Barbagello
Hi Guy's
For those who are interested. This is a link to our racing at Barbagello (WA)
The footage is taken from Mark Greenhams Series 1 RX7 with about 400 rwhp.
The race consists of 2 classes. Street Cars and Improved Production. Street Cars have a lot less restriction and therefore always win. However the 2 classes dont actually battle each other for points. Each class is racing its own race. To give you and idea Turbo charged Street Car's dont have to run the 36mm restrictor that Improved Production do. You can see this down the straights.
If you are interested Mark over takes me climbing the hill over the back of the circuit on the 3 rd lap. Look for the orange Scorpion

Cookie, I finished 2nd. Got passed on the last lap (lap 8) by a Kevin Ledger in the red WRX. I would have had it won except pace car came out and banked the field up after the Celica blew its engine coming down the hill. I forgot about the oil when the race restarted with 2 laps to go and I hit the oil couldn't stop on the last corner of the last lap.
Phil. The class is Improved Producion Racin Australia (IPRA). Its one of the fastest growing classes at the moment. Its very Big in the east, with over 2ltr and under 2ltr grids. Very diverse range of cars which makes for great racing. I am president for the IPRA in WA, if you want more info let me know you detalis and i will get some contact numbers for you! :)
