Narrowbody with 9" rim

Post by FST4RD »

So I went around to JAS place to try on his 9" widebody rim with a 225 stretched onto it and heres the results.....

Car normally sits a tad lower but the drives not flat, and doesn't look like there will be any guard rub either, will still get the guards rolled anyway....
So after trying on Jases 9" rim decided I will go for 9" rims on the back with 8" rear widebody rims on the front to give it heaps of dish all round :-)

I had 285/30 18s on mine with only a guard roll.

You can go wider in the rubber.

The thing with the rubber is that the rim basically sits in line with the guard and with the 225 it sat quite nicely up under the guard......

Oh it was you!!!! LOL
I didn't recognise you!!! sorry bout that.......

Yeah not to sure if a 245 will get under the guards though......
It will be trial and error though to see, might have to try and get an old 245 for free and see if jas will let me borrow the rim again to try it on.....

Firstly i'm going to get the guards rolled.
