2.6 L engine pics

Post by boosted »

Hi all,

i thought you would like to see some pics of a friends project, which is slowly coming together..

Mods so far Garrett Gt25/40, balance shafts removed, eliminated jet valves, EGR removed, full 2.5" exhaust only the back muffler..

to come, Fuel ECU, Clutch and flywheel, Apexi, wather -alcohol etc.

Hope you like (And hope that the pics aren't too big  !)

regards
Adil

Hey man you have to get rid of that TBI it totally sucks. I measured 3-4psi pressure drop through that thing on my 2.6

Thanks for the replies.

The air/fuel gauge is inside, it's a wideband innovate Gauge, which is only in for tuning it. And is removed after.
Boost gauge aswell. (A-pillar)

Mrb1: Yep right, it really sucks but it's only the first stage, there's still a lot of work which has to go in it. I have to admit (as i'm more the fan of the 2 liter engines) it actually runs quite well. The torque is just amazing!

All comes with time

don't go over 18psi on that turbo and fuel system or it will lean too much and burn up.
