another replacement ride

Post by madeofmilo »

Hey boys and girls. Here's the new beast. Not sure what doing with it yet. Ex-clarion show car remember it for Autoshow 2000? well neither do I.

$1500 spakeroonies. Pick up next weekend if all goes according to plan - lowered suspension, 16inch rims, full respray, locker diff, extractors + exhaust, Vr Commodore interior (not VR dash), nice woodgrain steering wheel. Is a B1800 but now 2L mazda motor.

My JA has perfect motor - FMIC - forgies - high flow head but...rusted front guards and keyed on every panel. Time to get serious or time to take it to the tip.

nice front, need to ditch that tray for something a bit nicer.
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

the only things remenant from Clarion are dirty big speaker holes! Dammit.

As for the tray not sure where I'm going with that. Wish I know what I was doing with the whole car.

Wouldn't mind doing one of those nice 4L Lexus V8's.

Although I'm not completely sure about how good those 2L mazda motors go. May just mod that.

Cheers Dave

maybe a 302 cleveland. I'm sure the RTA would love that.
