the 4g64 candidate

hey guys

finally went and got my new starion body, donor for a 4g64 swap while my elderly ja rusts away.

Image

looks alright.. has little ding in the front spoiler which is a shame - when it was bought by a friend six months ago it was perfect.. minimal rust apart from one door... he has also cut away the bonnet supports so he could fit away a top mount but this can all wait until its wearing my 4g64.... motor has seized balance shaft but princely for $1000 :D

stay tuned :pimp

did the VL have fun towing that trailor.

p.s you must have deep pockets LOL
My JA has perfect motor - FMIC - forgies - high flow head but...rusted front guards and keyed on every panel. Time to get serious or time to take it to the tip.

I love the yellow, I've had two.

One I sadly gave up in exchange for a twin turbo manual Soarer (heavily modded Staz :)) and the other was the most perfect example I'd ever seen, my ex-brother-in-law rolled it into a ditch after "borrowing" it. Twas a sad, sad day.

Good luck with yours!!

Phil

id've taken the soarer

1jz makes stupid power with modest boltons

it wont stay yellow... paint is pretty tired the photo just makes it look good. needs a bit of panelbeating (doors, front left fender & front spoiler) but its all small stuff and theres NO RUST :D:D:D:D:D (bar said door)

no rust means a lot after the previous starions ive owned
