So you sold him the DASH Head ?
Also, it looks like the wall has split in two (ie. cracked) on the Split-pulse exhaust manifold ?
The DASH Head is okay but I dare say the 8v is a smarter choice unfortunately
If you want real power, DOHC is the way to go.....

Computer games don't affect kids I mean if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music :D

haha Chris
toysrus - na I haven't sold the heads, still have the two DASH heads here. I will probably sell them to him though. I haven't actually transferred payment for them yet, but I'm paying 300 all up. The only crack on that exhaust manifold is underneath it :) just a hairline that could be welded.
Staz - basically as toysrus said, 8valve is just a smarter choice, and DOHC is where the power is at. The 12 valve does flow a little more, but nothing amazing, and its not worth the hassle. And by hassle I mean nobody has parts or gaskets, and most people look at them and go 'OMGWTFBBQ?', not to mention no bolt on multipoint soltuions. The setup I have in my EX Starion he said is basically what his ideal setup would be.
I became doubtful myself of its performance value when I took the side by side 8v vs 12v photo. It just didn't look like it'd flow enough extra to validate the cost.
I really can't afford DOHC, so best just to upgrade the SOHC heads already fitted on the cars or start saving like crazy. I just put a set of Alpine Type R components, Alpine 9833 headunit, Fusion amp etc in the EX, so I should probably get my alarm fitted before I do anything else.
Also rofl at my title, I totally deserved it.
