mate i've stripped 3 skyline line turbo's now in the hope of finding a ball bearing core. i've yet to find one. if someone has found one that has shit its self and they a willing to pull it apart could they take some pics please of the core....

the reason they are expensive to rebuild it due to the fact the need new turbine and compressor wheels,take the price of those plus labour away you looking at around 400 for bearings thrust washers, seals and balancing.

or you could get a brand new GT35/40 700hp turbo with dual ball bearings (or anything smaller) for $2150.

i know i'm spewwing i bought my gt2876r a year ago and it cost me 2650 and on sunday at the fast fours jamboree they are now down to 2100, i was reall happy :glare:

I got a HKS GT2530 T3 flanged Turbo for sale if you are interested. This was designed as a direct bolt on for Skylines.

Now this one is Ball Bearing and it will make it go very well :D

I made 240 rwhp with stock bottom end with this, and it still had plenty to go.

Over $4000.00 new, sell for $1400.00
