Well done Jeff. Lucky not to do any damage with the half spin in the second clip. How rare is it to see snow in country devastated by bush-fires. Nice to see all the vegetation regenerating again. How did to finish in the results ?

Results were secondary at this event as I wanted to test out the new diff as well as play with suspension settings & tyre pressures.
And being a relatively cheap 1.5 day event, I just wanted to use it as a lead up event to Targa High Country in November.
It's really hard to practice for tarmac rallying because you just can't get the same intensity pushing it on open public roads, so this event was perfect.
Having said that, I was pretty happy with my times, but with only 14 cars competing I didn't really have a yard stick to measure up to.
We also took some in-car footage which I was able to use to determine the cause of the little spin in stage 2; for some unknown reason I decide to shift back into second on the left hander which caused the rears to lock-up causing the nice, gentle spin

What ratio did u run Jeff?
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

The roads looked to be a bit challenging due to leaves , bark and running and standing water.

A couple of the boys from Ralliart were up there and they sent a few pics thru to me over the weekend.
Glad to see you have the 4.6 diff in, now you just have to get some ratios in the box and believe me it will transform the car again. Maybe we should catch up and you can take the Rallycar for a drive.
I have a heap of in car from the Alpine Rally last year but not up to speed on how to load it. Could be a good reason to catch up anyway?

Yeh, that would be Pete West. A legend in motorsport, has built two Bathurst winning engines in his time when he worked for Gibson Motorsport.
He came down and serviced for me at the Alpine Rally last year, had a ball.
The pics I saw of your car were sent from him.
