What was your best time you did? I'm looking at running my SR Stazz in a few weeks, and would be very interested to compare times.
From memory you are running like a 4.6 diff ratio right?
Mines got 3.9's and a smaller turbo, but it's not as heavy! So it's anyones guess.
I'll do my best to take your fastest SR20 Stazz title :P

Nah the Nissabishi runs a 3.9 diff.
I've just learned something interesting about the axle shafts as well.
5 bolt shafts are bigger where the 4 bolts holes connect on the inside to the hub. The holes don't line up perfectly!
Hmmm... :?

Re: ...
yeah I took the hub off the shaft and slotted the holes slightly to make the holes line up (make sure you do this in a mill not with a drill!)NachoMan wrote:Nah the Nissabishi runs a 3.9 diff.

slotting the holes should be fine as the hub seats inside a groove anyway to hold it in position.

You don't need to do this, just pull the drive flanges off a ja & replace the american ones on the stub axle, the spline & everything else is the same.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

I've just my Vernier on the body of both shafts. The US ones are thicker by about 1/2 a millimetre.redzone wrote:You don't need to do this, just pull the drive flanges off a ja & replace the american ones on the stub axle, the spline & everything else is the same.

Who knows man!? I'm still learning the little differences between all of the various models and incarnations after 16 years of owning Starions.redzone wrote:Manufacturing tolerance? I've done this to like 4 different cars.. They fit straight on!
It would actually be impossible to know everything about these cars!
