The inlet manifold is from a 1G Eclipse. We had to reweld the intake so that we could fit the throttlebody.

The result of a few hours of polishing and claying. I also made a quick ride to test my brakes, it has a lot of stopping power. The brake pedal also feels very hard, i don't feel any difference between stock calipers and the new one's. I think I don't need a upgraded master brake cilinder.

I love this lancer!
Such a pity the turbo models over here are like hens teeth... and the ones that do come up for sale are rusting back into the earth from where they came.

But if I had the choice I would rather have one of these, even though I love starions I now in my old age prefer 4 doors. :)

So you say you don't feel any difference between stock and new. Do u mean in stopping power or feel on the pedal? Do you also not recomend upgrading the master in that case Am interested in this conversion hense the all the questions sorry . Cheers and very nice ride :P

@perrinsohc, I dont feel any difference in brakepedal. A friend of mine with also the same brake setup has put more drivingmiles with the brakes and also said to me that the masterbrake upgrade isn't necessary. I'm going to the garage tomorrow for the MOT, I'll let you know how it feels.

Finally I the time to test the new brakes. My first impression is that I dont need a upgraded master brake cilinder. The stopping power is awsome!
