Need to give that body a buffing!
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

that's still ok eh? some of the new nissans have mirrors that make everything seem further away.. so when you're overtaking.. someone might be almost next to your car and it'll look like they're 3 cars length behind :S dangerous..

This may depend on the year.
My US one is an 84 and I'm pretty sure it is only the left side that is distorted.
Mine have also dropped somehow and can't be adjusted to show much other than the road about 10 feet behind me, this may be a common problem and something to look out for,
if anybody knows how to fix it please let me know.
If at first you don't succeed, maybe skydiving just wasn't your sport!

this would be for the same reason the speedo reads higher than actual speed.. to stroke your ego and make you feel like you're leaving others behind :P

Did you mean your car or yourself? LOL I reckon the latter...

Incidentally GSR-III mirrors look the same externally as JA starion mirrors but the glass in them is actually convex as well. Waaay before it's time and was initially disconcerting, so much so that I nearly swapped them with JA ones. I'm used to them now and do additional checks before swapping lanes to be sure.

The convex mirrors are disconcerting to start with. You quickly get used to them and they help a heap to eliminate the b pillar blind spot. As long as you remember the "objects are closer than they appear" they are great.

The Evo has convex mirrors, and I find when I get back in the Starion I feel like I can't see anything - so I actually prefer them.
