Well mine definitely has a 3.9 open diff.
The way I tell is when you hit 100kmh, a 3.9 will have the tacho sitting at just under 3000rpm, whereas a 3.55 will have the tacho sitting at 2,500 rpm in 5th gear.

100 klicks is app 2750 rpm & 110 is spot on 3000 rpm in my JB with a 3.9 diff (lsd :D )

It's about the same then :) Just that mine doesn't have an LSD in it...yet.
But it just so happens that I have sitting around waiting for some GSR-V love. :D

those wheels are SSR professors eh silo? so are they yours or are u stil getting the volks? looks phat either way :beer

They are WORK MEISTER SP1's! I was gonna get the GT-C's but these came up at a reasonable price so i went with them. I have decided that the style of
these suits the old school cars better that the GT-C's anyway :beer

For anyone wondering they are 18x10+18 on the front and 18x11-7 on the rear, 245-40 and 295-30 respectively!

kewl. professors and SP1's are very similar :D

did u get them from a VIP boy or something??

their stock offset is around +35 so it'd have to be a fkn ridiculous widey kit on one of them to fit!
