My new project (non-Starion)

Post by SpidersWeb »

Wanted to just get another Starion, but prices in NZ have gotten a bit stupid. Thankfully a new RWD turbo Jappa is coming down to a sexier price range.

This is what I got with $2200. It has a blown headgasket, but I plan on rebuilding the motor over the next couple of months which will be fun, and will mean making 400-450hp will be safe and easy(ish).

Thanks :)

Na it's the 2by2, but not that much difference, 5 inches longer and something like 30-50kg heavier. Has the targa top too which is easier to remove than I expected. It's also automatic, but manual gearboxes are easy to find (yey).

Good job, they go good with a couple of Silvia turbos on them.
I've been looking for a swb in the same condition for RB26 conversion.
Still remember a mate paying $18,000 for one about ten years ago, that shit itself real good, blew h/g then broke the crank cradle
Sure your have heaps of fun.
